The seasonal moorings of Asterix is the port / Marina Benitses (Photo) on the island of Corfu, situated a few kilometers south of Corfu town. Or in the port of Preveza (Photo) Upon your arrival at the Corfu airport the skipper will be present and take you on board of the ship.
The embarkation / disembarkation normally occur in Benitses, unless otherwise agreed to be taken directly with the skipper. The most traditional route, and if we consider also closer to the tourist in terms of available vacation time,
is sailing on the Ionian Islands: Corfu, Paxos and Antipaxos, Lefkas, Cephalonia, Ithaca and Zakynthos. During the planning of the cruise, with the skipper, you may decide to visit other marinas located on the mainland overlooking the island . The islands are really beautiful and you will find small bays with their anchorages not crowded. Admire the ancient and powerful Venetian fortresses that still diffuse the scent of ancient, medieval history, but always present. Fortresses whose story tells of naval battles and heroic resistance, fortifications built to defend the people from countless Turks raids. In all the islands you will find ancient olive trees and date back to the long and legendary Venetian presence. Every evening you can sit in typical restaurants or quaint taverns, where the reception and family treatment of their owners is unforgettable, and where you can enjoy great food accompanied by generous local wine. Having a major holiday period, at your request we can organize different sailing routes and even further away from the Ionian Islands.
